Aboubacar Konate

Aboubacar Konate

Principal Engineering Consultant

LinkedIn

Born in Fria, Guinea, Aboubacar moved to Boston at 16 and earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Formative years spent crossing a truss bridge each morning on the way to his grandfather’s farm — and witnessing roads washed out by the rainy season — shaped a lifelong commitment to resilient infrastructure. He built a 7-year career at HDR and VHB specializing in bridge inspection, load-rating, and structural design, and founded Nimba Consulting to bring that expertise back to West Africa.
